Cover Ordered

I placed my order for the cover of Cthoma’s Fated. Just in time for them to go on vacation. Since my 2nd round of edits came back early this will not delay anything (I hope).

My concept is hand-drawn by me (I know, don’t give up my day job and start an art career).

Here are the ideas that I gave to the cover designers:

• The main character is supposed to collect ten rings but only finds nine before he fails. I could see a circle of nine rings with space where a tenth one should be. The tenth ring could be hidden in some other element on the cover such as the "o" in "Cthoma".

• A red comet lights up the night sky is significant and could be the main focus of the cover.

• The main character is maimed at one point and loses both of his hands. I was thinking of having him silhouetted in front of the red comet with bandages where his hands used to be.

That is what I gave them, let’s see what they develop. I’m excited about how this will look.
